Quantum’s Artico™ is a complete solution that enables workgroups to store and share more data to add value to work and increase overall productivity. Artico provides the most economic approach to online storage so users can afford to store and access more valued data and content than ever before.
Artico enables workgroups to share active data directly from high-performance disk storage and to create policies that will intelligently migrate data to less-expensive archive storage as the content ages. Quantum’s integrated StorNext® technology offers powerful policy-based data movement from active disk to a comprehensive range of archive storage technologies including Tape Libraries, Object Storage, and Cloud.
Artico is a purpose-built appliance that can start as a standalone NAS share with 33TB of usable storage, and can seamlessly grow by upgrading disk storage to 73TB as well as by attaching archive storage that can scale to petabytes and support up to a billion files. The Artico solution can grow as your storage needs grow.
Artico is a NAS appliance that is compatible with SMB1 (CIFS), SMB2, SMB3, NFS v3, and NFS v4 protocols and supports mainstream OS platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux) and applications that run on those platforms. Artico comes with 10GbE connectivity for the NAS share. On the back end, Artico can support Fibre Channel libraries and 10GbE archive storage targets.
Artico is a NAS-based, shared-storage solution designed to reduce storage costs and optimize productivity.
